Mobilize

We believe that it is important for us as the Church to be the Church, directly serving as the hands and feet of Jesus. We provide training and equipping to be ready to mobilize, minister, and make disciples of all people.

This holiday season, let’s live out our mission to bring hope, help, and healing by supporting our neighbors in need! Along with collecting blankets for Countdown to Christmas, we’re gathering food for the Sierra Arden Food Closet on Sundays, November 8 & 15.

This year, the greatest needs are turkeys, canned pumpkin, and canned cranberries, and our goal is to collect 75 turkeys and 300 cans of each.

Putting Our Faith in Action

  • The Sierra Arden Food Closet provides food and other items to those in need.

    Donations can be brought directly to the Food Closet at 890 Morse Avenue during open hours M, W-F from 10:00 AM - 11:45 AM.

  • Good Shepherd supports St. John's Program financially and spiritually. A group from GS leads a weekly on-site Bible study for both women and teens, and provides childcare so their moms can attend.
