Maria has been part of the church community since 2015, when she reaffirmed her faith, and has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Council President, Small Group Facilitator, Worship Team member, and Deacon. She holds an M.A. in Forensic Psychology and originally trained to study criminal behavior, though these days her investigative skills are more commonly used to track down missing email responses.

As Connections Director, Maria is passionate about helping people connect with God, one another, and resources that support spiritual growth. Her goal is to create opportunities for the Holy Spirit to move while helping people feel seen, welcomed, and connected. She firmly believes that meaningful relationships are at the heart of a thriving faith community.

Outside of church, Maria enjoys documentaries, books, and "pebbling" her friends with a steady stream of unnecessary reels and internet discoveries. She and her husband, Jeff, who also serves on staff, can often be found providing running commentary on their favorite shows, discussing dream vacations, or adding new hobbies to an ever-growing list of interests that currently exists mostly as browser tabs and good intentions.
