Daniel grew up in Visalia, California, in a ministry family and has been serving intentionally in ministry from a young age. He has been involved in almost two decades of both professional and volunteer ministry at multiple churches. He received his Masters in Ministry from Point Loma Nazarene University and is ordained in the Church of the Nazarene.
He is married to Hannah, who grew up in Sacramento and attended Saint Francis High School. Hannah works as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines, a role she greatly enjoys. Together, they have a lively young son named Callaway, who is full of energy and joy. He loves attending GS Preschool. While Callaway shares his name with a golf brand, he was named because Hannah thought it was "cute," a decision Daniel wholeheartedly supports. In 2026 they added a daughter, sweet Sadie Mae. Their family of four lives in East Sacramento.
Daniel's hobbies include any sport, youth ministry, event organization, and preaching. His favorite sport is golf and he spent the last 12 years working professionally in the golf industry, something which he still does part time. He also loves soccer. Daniel also continues to be heavily involved in the leadership of youth events for the Church of the Nazarene, speaks at summer camps, and mentors young people.
His favorite passage of scripture recently became the first part of Ezekiel 47, which he only really took in deeply while reading through the whole Bible in one year, for the first time, in 2024. It is a reminder that the things that begin at the altar of the Lord, even if they start small or dwindle at points, can grow into beautiful, redemptive, powerful things, as long as they stay connected to the source.
Please reach out to Daniel, he would love to take you to coffee or lunch and hear your story.
